Samuel P. Lasley, his father- James Lasley 1774-1858 and mother Susan Smith 1776-1854. James Lasley was the son of Manoah Lasley b abt 1743 Louisa Va. died Green Co. Kentucky 1836.
Sumuel P. named one son John Smith Lasley and another Manoah Smith Lasley.
"John" is a family name for Manoah's(1743-1836) brother of whom I'm a descendant.
