Pricilla Lasley is my ggggrandmother. She was born in 1817 and died 2 April 1890. I would like to know her husband's name. Apparently he died before she and her 3 children moved from Alabama to Nashville, Tennessee sometime after 1869. She had the following children:
William Henry Lasley (26 Feb 1844-16 Jan 1903)
David C. Lasley (???)
Sidney Lasley (1858-1928)
Martha Ann Lasley Harper (??-28 Oct 1918)
All except David are buried in Nashville.
David was a railroad person, and moved to Texas.
William Henry Lasley married Julia Tucker and they had 13 children, one of which is my gggrandmother (Julia Aubie Lasley) William Henry was wounded in the Civil War in Gettysburg, and his name is on the Confederate Monument in Centenial Park in Nashville.
Julia Aubie Lasley married George David Waller, an architect in Nashville. They had 3 sons...Louis Lasley Waller (my grandfather), Raymond Willis Waller and George David Waller ll.
I am almost certain that my Lasleys come from the Lasleys of Virginia (Manoah, John, Thomas). Louis Lasley Waller was an architect and a Methodist minister.
I would appreciate if anyone can help me tie Pricilla to earlier Lasleys.
