Joseph T. Lasley, age 36, born MO was in Weston, Umatilla Co., OR in 1880. The family consisted of Mary J. (Carnell, I believe) Lasley, age 24, born MO, children: Ida B., age 8, born MO, Leonard, age 3, born MO and Fred (Frank on census), age 7 months, born OR. The family later moved to Klickitat County, WA. Mary eventually left with Ida and Leonard to live in Portland, OR. She later remarried a man with the surname of Letcher. The census states Joseph's father was born in NC; his mother born in AL. We believe a son George died on the trail west.
