I'm trying to locate someone who is a descendant of a man named MARTIN LASLEY. He was recorded as a resident of Adams County, Illinois, on the 1840, 1850 and 1860 census' in Camp Point Twp.

On the 1850 census he was recorded as a 34 year old male who was born in Indiana. His wife was also 34 years old and she was born in Indiana as well. Her maiden name was Susan Dillard.

Their children, listed on the 1850 census were: Noah age 9, born in Illinois; Harriett age 6, b. in Illinois; Rebecca A., age 5, b. in Illinois, Aaron, age 2, b. in Illinois, Lavina C. age 3 months, b. in Illinois.

His 1st wife died prior to 1880, and he was remarried. His second wife died in 1906 and she is buried in Adams Co., Illinois, so I assume he lived out his days there, but there is no record of his burial there.

Is there ANYONE who is a descendant of his who can tell me more about him. I believe he may very well have been a brother of one of my ancestors.
