The Lasleys of Washington Co.,Pa. are definitely German (the Bretheren who went to Ireland and then America were also German or Swiss). I am descended from Peter Lasley of Bethlehem, Pa. (also spelled Lashley, Leslie) who we believe is the son of Peter Lassle the elder (Lazle, Lazzle, Lessle) who lived in the Ephrata monastic community. Would like contact with someone who has more information or is also a descendant of Peter.
