Origin of the LASHER surname
John Lasher 3/07/00
Here's another scenerio: Henry LESHER emigrated to Philadelphias from port of Rotterdam in 1727. He was originally from Schauffhausen, Switzerland. Three generations later, his Great Grandson began using the name LASHER. This John Lasher was born in Lancaster Co., Pa. None of his other siblings used this new name spelling, but John (and his decendants) continue to do so even today. Anyone know why?
