This is an update on my John Larrison request as I finally have some better details.
John Herbert LARRISON
b:17 May 1888, Portland, OR
d: 14 Jan 1957, Meadville, PA
Parents: Daniel & Josephine (DOMPIERRE) LARRISON. John was said to have had 5 brothers and 1 sister (names unknown) and they lived on a farm around Portland. John then moved to Pittsburgh via Texas, Tennessee and Ohio. He met and married Martha.
Martha Elizabeth McALLISTER
b: 13/30 Dec 1902, Pittsburgh, PA
d: 26 Mar 1971, Meadville, PA, as Martha PARRIS
Parents: Frank & Naria (DONAHAE) McALLISTER. Martha had a sister Frances (Mrs. Kenneth BATES of Kinsman, OH) and a brother, Charles/Charlie McALLISTER.
John & Martha LARRISON had 3 children: John Herbert, Jr. (1926), Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Mrs. Tony RAMELLA, then Mrs. Paul W. JONES)(1928-1968), and Van Donald (1931) in Pittsburgh before moving to Meadville around 1934 or so. There they farmed for awhile and after selling that, John went to work for the Railroad as a Laborer. He died at the home of Mrs. Charles STOYER just before he was to shovel snow off her walk.
