Hi Frank

Sorry, just saw your message today. I haven't had any luck tracking down a marriage record for Frank and Domithilde/Matilde Monette, although I did find a baptism for a Domitile Monette (21 May 1821 l'Acadie) that I *suspect* is the correct one. Likewise, no luck with Sophie's birth or marriage. I'm wondering if the records were in St. Joseph du Corbeau - didn't that church burn in 1843? I would have thought copies were recorded in Canada, but haven't found one yet! I'm wondering if it might be recorded but not indexed properly or something - some of the records are so hard to read I suppose that's possible? I'm limited to internet research right now.

You can email me at jen_ooi2000@hotmail.com

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.

Jen
