I am looking the the PRDH and am finding the redaction of the marriage of the subject couple. It says Francois Carre dit Laroche, Soldier of the Company of St. Ours, Parish of St. Leger, Village and Diocese of Nevers; 35 years; son of Jean Carre and Marie Bordier to Marie-Anne L'olivier, residing at Sorel, 26 years; daughter of Pierre L'olivier and Elisabeth Renault in the presence of Valerien Deporus dit Debeaumont, Sargent of the Company of St. Ours and Etienne Bontron dit Major, Sargent of the Company of Laforest, Laforest (himself); Jean Baptiste Hoc dit Jolicoeur (step or brother-in-law), and Jacques Delaselle, menuisier. Priat, Pretre, performing the curial functions and residing at Ville-Marie; Vachon Debelmont according a Dispensation of Two Bans. (#47928) June 11, 1706 at Montreal Marie-Anne also known as Marie and Marie-Rose. Children in marriages: Francois b. January 1710, to Marie Francois Renau, Feb 14, 1735 at Terrebonne Marie-Josephe b. Aug 22, 1723, to Jean Baptiste Goguet, March 17, 1749, contract Janvrin Dufresne Strangely she died 5 days later! But see that this contract was made after the marriage of Nov. 5, 1748 at Sorel Josephe-Rose to Jean Capelet,of La Chapelle Jeanson en Bretagne, November 3, 1735 at St. Francois du Lac There is also evidence of a son born to the couple named Jean Marie b. Mar 20, 1718, married Marie-Louise Mandeville, January 13, 1741; contract Lafosse. I also find a daughter Catherine who died Oct 15, 1708 at age 11 months at Contrecoeur and family residing Yamaska at this time. Catherine is buried at St. Ours.
