If you looked at the follow up you would have seen that I corrected the error. The Larkins went from Pennsylvania to Ohio to Illinois and then on to Oregon. Also, in the book HISTORY OF SANDY CREEK CHURCH, on the obituary probably written by someone in Oregon, you will find this statement.Elder Larkin was ordained to the ministry by Sandy Creek Church in the early 1840s, but in about 1845 was excluded for disorderly conduct.I doubt william E. Larkin did any thing serious, but there may have been an argument about the direction of the church. There were many later on that were excluded. One of the members mentioned in the book said he didn't think he had the temperament to join.William E. may have become angry at some point enough to get him excluded. It is my opinion that William E. may have joined the church when he first came to Pennsylvania because of the Reed family.John Reed was buried on the church grounds in Pennsylvania.
In the Shirley Walta book,on page 132, it says, "Keturah was said to be of Welsh descent, orphaned in childhood and raised by an Irish family. This was probably written by Zelda Mosier,a descendant of Daniel Wood Larkins.Sarah Ann Davis, Jeremiah's first wife was also of Welsh descendant.
