I can't correct any of the mistakes so far...on the Honnowell chart I mention earlier with the Finley and
Williams family...it also listed an Robert Hill, and while we have no information on the son said..same name..of
Frederick HIll, this one in 1787 married REbecca Caldwell..
died in 1822..old enough of one name to be the parent of the other. Joseph Murphy and Jane Larkins duahgter "Jane"
married Isiah Hill..mentioned in the fued. The Comp of Gene.series, and it was an pretty old series at the Main
Library in Portland, many years ago...Vol. 4, page 418...
Joesph Murphy b. 1775, removed to Wilmington, NC. 1805,
he married 2nd wife 1810, Jane larkins (Hey, it's with the "S" everyone!). The book "Sequatchie", page 109.
The Whitesides Methodist Church, according to it's cornerstone, was first organized in 1828. One Joseph Murphy came to running water Creek, and bought land from teh Indians.....(so forth)/skl.
