Hi Madelyn, Elizabeth Brock Larkin mentioned that Suffolk - most likely East Anglia was the place of origin for Edward Larkin of Westerly, Rhode Island. I have seen Kent and Suffolk as the likely origin of Edward of Charlestown, MA. Both were said to be born in the 1615-1616 range. The other Larkin mentioned was Thomas Larkin (Conn.) Elizabeth Larkin and William Larkin (both descendants of Edward of Westerly) did extensive research but did not find any concrete evidence connecting either of our Edwards to definite points of origin or each other. However there was quite a bit of circumstantial evidence regarding Mendenhall (sp?) in Suffolk as a place of considerable interest. I believe the two Edwards to have been related - but that is just my theory. Good Luck and let me know if you find what you looking for. Annette
