Keep yourself centered on Sir John Lawson, admiral of his majesties Navy, I think there's still the picture of him hanging in the Lodge headquarters in Colonial Williamsburg..I use to belong to that Historical society for many years...Sir John had three daughters, one is in New England (Norton/Southwick)., the other two in Virginia, one of them maybe be thsi Ann Scottoe..the other possibly the "Cary" family by marriage...unsure as yet. I know about the Larkin saying that they are not related between the Rhode Island and the Massachusetts Larkin up there. I've talked to them both. I thought that also at one time. They don't know what I do not about this tie that binds them either. Keep your eye on the "Baoli" people, the Blackwell family, the Washington lines, the Wheeler's, the Chism(holm)family, the Strawn, and Davis as you go along. Until you understand that the English Crown has "castle's" all over the place... it's hard to think they shouldn't be more confined then what they are in England. Also become familiar with the Masonic order...back to it's orgins. You have excellent records back there. The first census of the massacres of 1622 are available. Also the names of Smith and Rogers are female married Lawson's in England/Scotland...they carry over here also. through the "Sweet" in-laws of the Rhode Island "Edward larkin" in land grants was how I finally figured out the listed "Edward Manton" was really Edward larkin..his daughter intermarried with them. The land grant is actually the same place for both names. You will have to go to charlestown, Mass land records to see where Thomas Larkin, mother Sophia Oliver and Edward larkin...this Thomas is first married to an Hannah Cordis (Custis) and he gives Thomas beneificiary after Hannah passed on, I found that real strange unless there was an child perhaps. Thomas remarries Ann Rogers (Cooper)..but its said up there that he's living in Mary Abbott's house also. Lord Ashley Cooper sat on the proprietors board for New Jersey I think it was.. or North Carolina. Epilepsy runs through the Rogers family, as seen by Wm Rogers Rev. War records, and by Giles Rogers in England being put to death for being an witch..he was trying to tell them back then that he was off the English crown. They called him an pretender and an witch and burned him at an stake. the Rogers family over there remarried into the Moore family whom tired to welch out the Rogers/Cooper North Carolina holdings. this time King Robert Cater and Mr. Crowninshild of Boston came to thier defence. I think the "Hannah" involved in the brutal rape James Moore isntituted on her in North Carolina was the Rhodes Island Edward larkin daughter, and he came back to rhose Island an changed his name to Larkin instead of "Marston" then..but with the help of the Mass. people of Larkin, namely thomas Larkin they take Hannah back in the area through New Jersey so she coul dnot be found for retribution. John Lawson "covers" Hannah, as well as the Larkin family in both area's and it includes the martin family also. Martin tens to be teh "German" element of the Lawson. Larkin tends to be the "Scotch-Irish" element of the English Larkin name. Queen "Eleanor" of Castill, Edward's wife was from Spain, she brought with her to England her religious group called the "moors"..I think perhaps Turkish or Muslims. Of course then after comes the War of Roses. It left us with having to make it understood why our George Lawson is listed as "Dark" in skin coloring in his New York Rev. War records in New York...though he was also an ship Captain making runs to Barbadoes apparently also with Rum...or else he invested in it. I asked the genealogist's out of New Palz, N. Y. ...why was he there?..if he was known of in King William County, Va. area's..she says..about an 45 min. drive in Conneticut is where they melted down the silver to make the bullets for the Rev. War...they used the Hudson River to transport them to the troops also apparently. The Blanche'(Blacky)family married Bejamin Franklin's daughter Deborah..whom helped the Rev. War cause. The ties with them to France comes from this "Baoli" family whom married into Washington's family...so it is no surprise to me that Layefette helped out George Washington..distant cousin perhaps...also their relationship as strong as "brothers" by some historians. In my notes around here I have the first such family to the american Colonies can be traced back to being with William the conquorer...though he was "french" orginally..I spectualate he was most likley an Templar Knight also. They started in Pilgrimages of initiation from the beach of Normany France and worked there way through the center of France..across the channel into England and to Rosslynn Castle near the Scottish border. william the Conquorer's son "Rolfe" had his castgle not far from London in Reading, England..take note the two William Larkin out of Groton, Mass. records also...sounds an whole lot alike the two boys "Edward" imprisoned in the tower of London just before the War of Roses...and richard takes over the Crown. Enough for this now. Notify Administrator about this message?
