I believe his wife was an Joanna Wilde, whose sisters and brother may or may not be married to the Culpeppers of Virginia...but I think Edward has many possbilites also
of being related to my Lawson family also, check out the Ann Steptoe (Scottow/Stepham) family in King William county, Va areas...particualry Bruton Parish church...seh left an "will". Edward probably came over to "James citie" in its first landings from London...as Boston was founded there after. The three supply ships sent to James cittie 1608-1610 had mostly nothing but skilled people in it to set up building trades. Of those three James cittie plantations, we have with the Larkin name interest in them, first was "Swinhow's" and you can see the first census there is an John Larkin concerning it, "Westover", whose work was there to set up an land grant concerning the fourth Lord Del La Warr..whose later descendents go north to the founding of the state of Delaware, then called in records "the North shore" or the "Old shore", and their next door nieghbor was "Causey's Care" (or "Clear).. neighbor "Berkely's Town and Hundred". After the first Indian raids many of the people went north. Next to them was "Causey's Care" or Cleare, and I believe this to been Nathaniel Lawson, rather then the name of "Causy"..he appears to have divorced his wife in Massachuestts. The Rhode Island Edward Larkin, has land deeds that are saying he was an Martin/Marston when he first took them out. His family of Ballou, I am picking up in records of "Baoli" also, they are an royal lineage from France. Going back to the Templar Knights. I realize that
many people don't think what's in Virginia could be in Masschuesttes, but I have studied thisfor so many years, and felt that Bruton parish Church was an old Lawson cemetary and church called Marston Parish,(was burnt down by Indians), that I was able to supply unkown grave marker #40, which only retains DLa and under it, 1722...as the Rev. Doedate Lawson, whom prior to the Salem, Mass.
which trials had the parish there, and gave it over to the Rogers family and eventually to the people concerning the witch trials. I give as my evidence, the will of Ann steptoeLawson, New England data concerning the REv. Doedate Lawson returning to see what had happened to his previous congredation in Salem, and also in Anne's will
she states that they gave "Mary" her sister to have money
to build an brick wall around their parents grave..and Bruton Parish as an wall. Parents could be blank markerslisted as # 4 and #5. I refer you to an legacy of the Lawson out of England in which it says that an John Lawson was an in-law to the Swinhow family..I found the dates of the first and second building of the church but not the entry that it had been previously calledMarston Parish as
yet, it's in this book I have somewhere though..you will
also see an lot of the Washington family, also married to
the "Ball"="Baoli" family and to them in England,..they were neighbors back then of the Lawson's whom were part of the English crown rulers called "Plangent" lines...here
in America it went into the name of "Pleasant" for the most part. The Lawson and Larkin relationship goes back an very long ways, they were probably cousin and with the
Martin's the same family at one time. Lawson and the in-law Lawson's did much to found "America" through it's original colonies. either politically, through immigration, or land deeds and grants. There is also this "thing" about Burton Parish holding an buried treasureyou know, they think the Templar Knight's took
the relics from the Temple Mount in Jersaleum and might of buried it at the curch at one time. Ann Steptoemarried the Nelson family..later went to New York area. Lord Fauquier seems to be playing an part in all this also. The name "Custis" in Virgina, is "Cordis in New England..the name of Steptoe/Stepham in Virginia is "Scottow" in New England. The name of Causey in Virgina is Lawson or Lossing in New England. Hope thsi helps some, and why I think the Wilde family is Edward's wife. But I would look for Edward outof the London Company, those first ships
that arrived in Virgina.
