Looking for the family of Mary LARKIN and Denis SHANAHAN
Children:
Ellen Shanahan born c1862-63 in Ireland
James Shanahan born c1866 New York
John Shanahan born c1868-69 New York
Timothy Shanahan born c1870-71 New York
Michael Shanahan born c1873 New York
Both Mary LARKIN and Denis SHANAHAN born c1832-34 in Co Limerick (per their NY Emmigrant Savings Bank and 1870 and 1880 US Fed Census records).
Denis immigrated first on 25 Feb 1864 on board the ship "City of London"; wife and child Ellen came over shortly afterwards on 19 Jul 1864 on board the ship "Edinburgh".
By 1870 they are in Ulster Co New York close to the post office of Rosendale but by 1880 they have moved to Manhattan New York where they lived on Laight St.
I am assuming that Mary LARKIN and Denis SHANAHAN married circa 1860-1861 somewhere in Ireland (probably Co Limerick).
