I don't know if this will be of any help to you or not, but I found out that one of the Lord Of Proprietor's to Virgina..and North Carolina was Lord Culpepper, and his maternal lines were "Wilde" family named also. I looked them over and while there are many there, the Joane Wilde I picked up coming to Virgina in the early years is not amoung them, another reason why I think she married Edward Larkin of Massachuessetts. Later on Culpepper county, Virgina was anmed after them also. I foudn this family on line by just doing his name and askin gfor his genenalogy. Try the area of York, England for them, though most of them left out of London bound for the colonies here after theintial founding of James Cittie and some also from Boston after the Mayflower group. I say when I got into this research they used shipsand it's transportation quite a bit up and down the coast in traveling. Notify Administrator about this message?
