My mother was an Larkins, but I have done considerable
research work on all varriants also, and I beleive I have
this Edward Larkin wife as perhaps Joan Wilde in Virginia
records of my hubby's Lawson lineage. In fact to get down
to it, the Larkin, Lawson, and Martin are of the same
root family in England. but to help you some, try out
Northcumblerland Co., England, and an place called "Lawkland" which I am talking to them right now,
for the Martin/Larkin...Wales...and there's one group of
Larkin from Reading, England also. The above John Larkin
had the daughter named "Margaret" that married into the
Edward Dorsey family.
