You said that you are seeking more information about your ancestor, Edward Larkin, born in 1615 or 1615 in England. My husband's early ancestor also is an Edward Larkin, born somewhere in England in 1615 and micrated to Charlestown, MA (now a Boston neighborhood) about 1637 or 1638. Unfortunately, we have no information about where exactly he was born in England or the name of the ship he sailed on to come to MA. We do know he was a Puritan and that he requested membership in the church in 1638 and was accepted in 1639 in Charlestown. We do have just about all the genealogical info. from him forward, which, if you don't have this, I will be happy to share it with you. I know that several years ago, maybe in 2002, you posted a message, suggsting that I check into the Larkin Chronicles at www.kittymunson.com. But when I tried doing that today, I found that that site either is corrupted or not working etc. I will be going to Boston in late July and will visit a Phipps Street cemetery in Chearlestown as well as the New England Historical and Genealogical Society library in the hope of discovering more clues about the origin in England of this Edward Larkin ancestor, of early Massachusetts. Please write back to me at madandwil@widomaker.com I am eager to share my informaiton with any folks that I can help with their research. Madelyn Larkin Notify Administrator about this message?
