Hello Betty,
Thank you so much for your reply, and for all the wonderful information that you've given me! I was afraid that my posting would be the only one on the forum.
It makes sense that my Isaac left for Canada in 1836, because there is no mention of him in the 1841 Lowestoft census. Although I'm not sure whether Carlton Colville would have been covered in that, anyway.
I'm in touch with someone whose late husband was a Larham from upstate New York. He was descended from your Isaac's brother George. She will be delighted to hear about you.
I would love to have a copy of that pamphlet! I'll give you further details in a private e-mail message.
