Good morning Colleen,

This is not my direct line but is a branch of it.

William H. was born in 1865, not 1845. That probably happened in Livingston County, Illinois.
In 1900 William and Catherine were in Noble County, Oklahoma.
The 1900 census states that William and Catherine had been married 4 years which equals 1896.
From this info and the fact that she is listed as the mother of 11 children, I have deduced that she had been married prior to the marriage to William Largent and that Walter and Zida/Reda were children of that first marriage.

The parents of William H. were James Rhodes Largent and Mary Ann Edwards.
They were married on 27 Oct 1864 in that county.

Parents of James Rhodes Largent were William C. Largent and Nancy Rhodes.

Parents of William C. were James Largent who I call {Adoptee} and an as yet unknown female. This James is one of two that fought in the American Revolution and is who I descend from.
Hope this helps.
How do you tie in to the William H. Largent line?
Randy Largent
