As you can see, I found your great grandfather's family, but he married and had his family after 1880 and he and his wife passed away before 1900; therefore, there is no census available to show his wife's first name. I believe the only way you could find her name is to write for the death certificate of one of Thomas' children if you know *where* they died and *when* they died. You must write to the courthouse in the county where the person died. The maiden name of the mother should appear on the death certificate.

As I explained, I have no idea how to search for the Indian records which is where the information for her would be held. I searched the Dawes Rolls using all the names of the children and husband and tried the name Darcus Hill..nothing was found. Sorry.

You really need help from a Choctaw researcher.
