Jan. 9, 1824 Josiah Lard of Lawrence Co. deeded to his children: Ruthy Lard, Jesse Lard, David Lard, Timothy Lard, Josiah Lard, Noah Lard, John Lard, Levy Lard, Abraham Lard and Elizabeth Lard, for natural love and affection, "all the lands and tenements, goods and chattels" lying in Lawrence Co., Miss., belonging to Josiah (X) Lard. Wit A, Hargis, W. W. Whitehead.
