My Larbey family tree is mostly in SevenOaks, Kent and Hastings, Sussex.

The Christian names tend to be John's, Guy, Percy, Ann's and Jame's.

Most Larbey's are in the Guilford and Farnham area and I've not managed to find any link to a living Larbey, which is surprising since our family in the mid 1800's was quite large.

One school of thought is it originates from France (which would be unfortunate!) and I notice there is a town in France called Larbey plus French people called Larbey.

Maybe came over with Bill the Conquerer's gravy train?
