Hello!
I have been in contact with Shawn about this same connection. My source for connecting George Larabee to Eleazer Larabee and Ruth Haley is his obituary which lists those as parents.
"George F. Larabee of the White Oaks road died at his home Saturday night at 10 o'clock. Mr. Larabee was born in Pownal, Vt., and was 75 years of age and was the son of Eleazor and Ruth (Haley) Larabee. He was a farmer by accupation (sic) and a Civil War veteran."

I am not 100% sure it is the same couple. George would have been born abt 1847 and that is 22 years after Eleazer and Ruth were married. George was buried in East Lawn Cemetary in Massechusetts. Do you know if that is where the Eleazer and Ruth you mention are buried? That could give us some confirmation. Anyone know where we can get a cemetary list from East Lawn?
