Hello,
My Grandfather's name was Magdaleno Lara Sr., he was born in Beeville, TX.He had numerous brothers and sisters, some of his brothers fled for Mexico during WWI.From what I understand, one of the parents died while many of the kids were still young. We have no idea as to where any of these people went to.
Magdaleno Sr. married Josefa Benavides and settled in Brownsville, TX.They had 7 daughters and 6 sons, one of which is my father, Magdaleno Lara Jr.All of my aunts and uncles are very close and we have a family reunion every year. This branch of the family at last count numbers around 150 to 175 including first cousins, aunts, uncles only.
