Your gr. grandfather Charles Albert
often put mention in of Lapp cousins in the Brighton Ensign. He referred
to a Mrs Percy Brown from Owen Sound as being a Lapp first cousin. It
took me 15 years to figure that one out.
We are third cousins once removed . If you are puzzled. Charles Lapp
born 1816 and Calvin Lapp married Badgley sisters Jane and Lydia. At one
time both families were Quakers.Charles Lapp is buried in the Methodist
Cemetery in Grafton,Ont and his wife Jane is buried in the Quaker
Cemetery in Pickering,Ont.
