On a CD that Broderbund has in its library available to users of Family Tree Maker, I found a listing (since William Kinge is my ancestor) that indicated that Christina Lapp was christened in Ugborough, Devonshire, England 28 June 1594. It further indicated that her father Willi Lapp (chr. 13 April 1560, Ugborough)and mother Johae (Johanna) Crocker were married 24 Nov 1590, Ugborough, Eng. Willi's father Johes (John) Lappe (chr 24 Feb 1543, Ugborough) was married to Thomasia Brend. I have not yet researched records to verify this information. "The King Family of Suffield, Conn." is a book that resides in the Library of Congress in Washington, D. C. and a film copy exists at the Family History Libray in Salt Lake City. William King died 4 April 1662 in Ugborough. His son William died 28 May 1664 somewhere off the shores of Newfoundland.
