I AM THE GRANDDAUGHTER OF A CHRIST LAPPLE WHO EMIGRATED TO THE US IN THE 1800'S. I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM A KONRAD LAPPLE IN GERMANY TRYING TO LOCATE OUR GROUP OF LAPPLE'S. ALSO I HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATING WITH A LAPPLE IN TEXAS. THE LAPPLE NAME AND FAMILY BEGAN IN THE WUERTTEMBERG GERMANY IF THAT IS WHERE YOUR ANCESTER WAS BORN WE ARE PROBABLY RELATED. IT HAS BEEN THEIR EXPIERIENCE THAT EVERY LAPPLE THEY HAVE TALKED TO HAS. THERE ARE VERY SUCCESFUL LAPPLES. I AM STILL IN THE PROCESS OF FINDING MORE AND MORE ABOUT IT MYSELF. A LAPPLE IN TEXAS SAID THAT THE LAPPLE NAME IS LIKE THE ROCKEFELLERS HERE. THERE ARE TWO WHO ARE IN THE GERMAN WHO'S WHO'. SCIENTISTS, PUBLISHER, FILM DIRECTER THE LIST GOES ON. IM NOT SURE ABOUT MARY LAPPLE YOU MAY WANT TO EMAIL FAMILYTREEMAKER TOM LAPPLE.IS THE NAME LAPP ANYTHING TO DO WITH LAPPLE?? I KNOW LAPPLE, LAEPPLE, LAPPLEY ARE ALL THE SAME FAMILY.
