Hi Stella,
I see its been about 2 years since you posted but I thought I would reply in case you were still looking.
I looked at the 1925 marriage of Aime LaPorte - and he was not marrying Bertha Maille at that time - he was marrying Marie_Jeanne Trudeau.

Name: Aime Laporte
Spouse: Marie Jeanne Trudeau
Event Year: 1925
Event: Mariage (Marriage)
Religion: Catholique
Place of Worship or Institution: Laval (St-Vincent-de-Paul-de-l`Ile-Jésus)
Province: Québec
My French is not fluent but this is basically what it says
June 24, 1925, after publication of banns, marriage of Aime LaPorte, widower of Bertha Maille, of St. Jeanne d"arc on the first part, and Marie Jeanne Trudeau, daughter of Alphonse Trudeau, and the deceased Aldina Bastien of this parish on the other part.
In the presence of Alphonse Trudeau, father of the espouse, and Alexandre LaPorte, father of the spouse, also the spouses signed.
Below there are signatures of Marie Jeanne Trudeau, Aime LaPorte, Alphonse Trudeau and Alexandre LaPorte.

There is a marriage for a Jos. Adelard Aime Laporte and Marie Jos. Bertha Mayer in 1892 which I suspect is the marriage of Aime and Bertha. Its an interesting marriage entry as it also shows baptism date for both. It was confusing at first as it is indexed under 1892 which was baptism date not marriage.

and Marie Jos. Bertha Mayer, baptised April 24, 1892, Notre Dame, Montreal, daughter of Michel M. and Alisina Messier
Witnesses to marriage:Pere of the espouse and Joseph Therrien

So it may be that the spelling of Maille/Mayer is wrong in either this marriage record or Aime's 2nd marriage with deceased wife's name ?
So I looked for burial of Bertha to see how her name is spelled, and it is Mayer.

Aime's mother's name is a bit hard to read - could be Celeriau??

I found a birth of another child of Alexandre and Joseph in which the name is clearer and seems to be Celerier so I looked for a marriage for them. Here it is - hard to find as Laporte spelled incorrectly in the indexed entry.
