I don't think the Laplantes in Springfield Ma. are related to the Laplantes in Holyoke or at least not very closely related. My father was born in Holyoke Ma. Feb 1897 his parents were Joseph and Josephine Daniel. Grandfather was Louis and Delima Parry but I believe Payett is is the name instead of Parry. Also if you would like to see the rest of family look at " Descendants of Louis Laplante " My nephew did this reserch. My Grandfather and father came to Vermont in the 1920's. Thanks for your info.
