I am looking for Sophia's parents and siblings. I believe that the LaPlante's and the LeDuc's were in Quebec Province. Sophia and Joseph were married in Canada and had several children before immigrating to the US. They settled in Vermont and Sophia died there. The Sophia I have was born around 1799 and died in 1840 or 41. My lineage is through their son Joseph born in 1829. A brother John was born in 1830 and possibly a sister Sophia born in 1837, all in Canada. Any help is appreciated! I hit this brick was several years ago and I am trying to get through it once again!
