Further to my first posting, family tradtion recorded in early 1930s and given by Angelique/Annie Longe, Christine's daughter, says that Christine (born Nov 1 1819, Quebec), was from Fort Malden/Amherstburg. Could Christine be the daughter of Louis Leriger dit Laplante Plante and Louise Smith, who were married January 31, 1815, St-Constant and were later living near Malden, Essex County, Ontario
