Hi Linda, I am not related, just trying to help you. I did some online searching and believe that I have found the ancestry of your Mary. I had found her birthdate of 20 Dec 1895 from Social Security records and then the 1901 Canadian census with her parents as Eugene and Merelise [Melanie]. Later, I found via your Rootsweb page, that you had her exact birth date and her parents as Eugene and Maline/Meline.
The couple I found: Eugene Laplante and Merelise Therrien married 4 May 1886 Ste-Monique, Nicolet, Quebec. E-mail me at
