Some months ago you posted a message regarding your Badayac ancestry. Are you still looking? Please advise as I have documented information on Louis Badaillac dit Laplante, who came to Canada in 1665 as part of the Carignan Saliere Regiment. He married Catherine Delalore and thus started the Badaillac/badayac/laplante family in Canada. Badayac is a variation in the spelling.

The French Canadian records are well documented and many are now posted on the internet.
