Jess, Here is the information that I have. I found the early ancestors at a site titled “Descendants of Jacques Beauvais dit St. Gemme” on RootsWeb’s World Connect Project (http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com). That led to Casimir but not to Eusebe because it followed only one of Casimir’s marriages…to Priscilla Monet. The connection of Casimir to Henrietta Dupuis and the following births and marriages are from family records and from some work that another man did as he tried to find his ancestors. He sent letters about his work to my great-uncle. Following is what I have: Clement Leriger (1662 -?) and Marie Marguerite Roy (1681-?) married 1700 Jean Baptiste Leriger (no birth date) and Marie Catherine Rougier (1715-?) (no marriage date) Jean Louis Leriger (no birth date) and Marie Magdelaine LeFebvre (1754 -?) (no marriage date) Louis Leriger (no birth date) and Louise Brosseau (no birth date) married 1783 Casimir LaPlante (1805-1883) and Henrietta Dupuis (no birth date) married 1828 (Casimir married Priscilla Monet (1812-1854) in 1836 and Olive Fournier Robichard in 1856). Eusebe D. LaPlante (no birth date) and Emerance Provancha (1846-1919) married 1866 Joseph Devesha LaPlante (1872-1963) and Lola Dorothea Fricken (1891-1979) married 1904 Joseph and Lola are my grandparents. They had one son, Herman (1912-1976). Does any of this connect with what you have? Marilyn
