Margaret Lapham & The Parker Letters
Posted by: Janna Parker (ID *****7464) Date: February 10, 2004 at 17:55:33

I am trying to find out what happened to the
letters Margaret had in her possession, they were on her Parker line....she was researching her family back
in 1940s...extensively, she worked as a bookkeeper for a local newspaper in Ohio, the Painesville Telegraph, she had done research on her Lapham line and had in 1947 over 5000 names, she spent all of her life searching both her family lines, until she became ill, she moved to her sisters home in Harrington Delaware, where she died.
Margaret Lapham was the granddaughter of
Polly Augusta Parker Lapham and Samuel Latham.....
It is believed that Margaret would have bestowed all of her
files, records, letters and research to a Library, soceity
or historically preserverd them.....if any one has info
would you please contact me.
Thanking you!
Janna
