I have in my possesion the family bible of Lazanis (Lazris?) Lape. He was born on April 22 1813 ( the town and country is given but it is to much for me to translate.) It lists in detail the birth of his 8 children also births and deaths for another family which is also very hard to read. (possibly Glepler ?) This is a wealth of information for any ancestor. Entire bible is written in German. His first child is born 10/17/1844 and his last is born 10/19/1864. Please contact me if you think this is your family, Barry Schinnerer (terrbarr77@yahoo.com )
