Although your posting was almost a year ago, I will still respond. You still may be interested. I have a Lape-Bechtel union. George Lape b:1817, m: 6/5/1836 in Fairfield Co., OH, to Christiana Bechtel, NFI on her. George had 9 siblings and I have quite a bit of info on them.

George's father was Nicholas Lape b: 3/4/1783 in Washington Co., MD, d: 4/4/1835 in Clearcreek Twp., Fairfield Co., OH. Nicholas' father and mother were: John Lape and Margaret Conrad. Nicholas m:12/6/1808 in Pickaway Co., OH., to Anna Maria Longbreak (George's mother) b: 11/1/1792 in Middletown, Frederick Co., MD., d: 10/16/1839 in Fairfield Co., OH. Her parents were: Daniel Longbreak and Marie Elizabeth Kittweiler.
