I have very little additional information on Ethan and Rebecca Lamphear.Henry Lamphear, a son, I think is the same Henry of Clayton county, IA who married Abigail Mitchell (before reaching Clayton county). Phila m. Alexander Waudell(and appears in Clayton county). Jane married Jason Converse and died ca 1913.
Hannah b. 13 Jan 1828 m. 1848 E. Wilder Smith. Henry, Phila and maybe Perry S. appear in some Lake county, IL records.
None of this information has documentation that I have found. Henry m. Abigail Mitchell shows up in death records in Clayton county, IA that I saw one reference to in widow's probate records but nothing to say he is the Henry of Lake co, IL. He doesn't fit into other Lamphier families in Clayton county.
I have a separate "Eathen" Lamphere with possible children of Eliza E. 1825-1908,m. an Easton and shows in Clayton county records. Also a Juliette, 1821,NY-1859
maried to Lorenzo Easton and resided in Strawberry Point, Clayton county, IA and is buried there; and Allen Lamphire of Wauconda, Lake county, IL.All this last information comes from another researcher who can be found at: [email protected] researcher descends from Juliette. This particular Eathen Lamphere is believed to have gone from Gainesville, NY to Rockford, Floyd county, IA, to Strawberry Point, IA. He doesn't show up inlate 1800 census records neither the Federal or the Iowa State's.

Good Luck.
