Thank you, but I am looking further back in time. My great grandfather was a blacksmith who also invented several wrenches, etc. used in quarrying. He lived in Carbondale or nearby for several years, then moved to Massachusetts. He had two sons born in PA, but they did not live in MA, but went west. One did go to Alaska during the gold rush, but ended as a storekeeper. I am trying to find the ship he came over from Ireland on, but finding he lived in PA was also trying to find information about his time there.
