You prob. know already about Robert Lanning, Sr., and his wife Martha Hart. He is supposed to have been born in Wales. I don't have any documentation on that either -- just things people have posted on the internet. I got the impression Robert Sr. may have been somewhat famous in NJ.
I need to go to NJ also and look in libraries, courthouses, cemeteries, historical societies, etc., to see if I can find where my Joseph Slater, Sr., came from. He is my brick wall at this time.
