I have a letter to David Burgess of Hocking county, Ohio from Frank Lanning of Columbus. The envelope is postmarked 5 Apr 1960. In the letter, Frank tells of his plans to travel to Pennsylvania to stay with Earl, Marie, and Mellie. He also writes of being 84 on the 22nd of April with 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

I think the Lannings are relatives of mine by marriage, perhaps through Mellie.
