My father's name is Terry Becht.
He was a bastard son to a woman named Dorothy who had a relationship with a man named Patrick Lanning.
She then became pregnant and had a son. Mr. Pat did not claim him. It was not till he was past twenty years old did Mr. Pat finally admit that he was his son, because of the resemblance they shared. Pat was a tall man with a stong nose and high pointed ears, My father and I are the same. My fathers birthdate was in 1949. I do not know Mr. Pat's birthdate. So far the only thing my dad knew was that he had to stay with Pat's brother for a while whose named was Dolph Lanning. And that man was extremely abusive.
All that he remembers from his grandfather was a small man who married a huge mountain woman from the mountains of North Carolina. We do not know his name.
Does anyone know of this string of people? Or where or how I have my blood? Who my ancestors were? It was DNA confirmed, however, my father chose to keep the name because he felt that he was never wanted by the Lannings.
