Thank you Carolyn. I appreciate your response. It's always so confusing with the spellings and good to have a confirmation.

p.s.
Just a footnote. I have a Calderwood Mason ( unusual first name) in my lineage, who died before 1850 in Alabama. He married twice. First to Sarah Lott, I think. The second time to my gg grandmother Sarah Sumrall. He was in GA in 1820 but apparantly came in on a spacecraft before that.
