You hopefully already have info re George William Lanxton I posted earlier. But some in our family suspect it may have been changed. We
re not sure form what. Maybe Langston. I have inquired on the internet back to England and found lots of Langstons but no LanXtons. I did find a Lanxon. Maybe when immigrated it could have had ,a T added due to pronunciation. Haven't been able to get more info yet. Haven't had (taken) time.
