Langton - Hull/Harrogate, 1500s

I noticed two messages about Langtons from Yorkshire in the 1400s on this message board and thought some information I had might be useful. I have a family tree from 19C (West Yorkshire Archealogical Service DD149/141) that has been reasonably accurate on the sections I have verified. It mentions a Langton. It mentions the marriage of Isabell Slingsby to Thomas Langton of Harrogate (not too far from Hull, so possibly connected to the Langton in the previous message). The marriage isn't dated but from other information on the tree it must be @1495-1505. I realise this information isn't terribly useful but it might just point someone in a new direction. There is also a link with the Vavasour family, which suggests the two families mix in the same circles.
Anne
