Hi,

Are any of you Langtons, or know some living Langtons from this family?

Beign from Sligo, Ireland makes you really interesting because i would like to estalish where the Sligo Langtons came from before they moved to Ireland. As Langton is not an Irish name, they were originally from England, and one of several possible Langton villages in Northern England.

Not all Langtons from Ireland are descended from the Kilkenny Langtons as some rumours suggest. In fact your likely to have come from somewhere else.

If anyone reads this and is interested, check out www.lostlangtons.co.uk and email me through that site, or through genforum.

Best
Joel
