I hold copy 10 of the 100 volumes of "The Langtons of Langton" - (an undated publication?) and am trying to establish a link between this and the family tree left to me by my father. I can trace back to Thomas Langton, (1816-1895), married to Mary ? (1816-1902) Thomas's death at age 79 is recorded in the Glanford Brigg BDM records. But I can go no further.

Thomas had a son, Henry - my great grandfather (1860-1936)
In "The Langton of Langtons" list of subscribers is a Henry Langton of 344 Holderness Road, Hull, and I believe two generations of Langtons may have lived at this address. My father (Kenneth)lived in Holderness Rd as a boy, attending Hymers College.I feel there must be a connection here. Henry's death at age 76 is recorded in the Sculcoates records - an area of Hull.

Can anyone please help? I shall be most grateful for any information or suggestions.
