William Langton and Nancy Ann Askins/Haskins were md. in St. Tammany Parish, LA in 1826.
He was the son on Wm. langton and Eleanor Carter. This older Wm. had land in LA as early as 1803. He sold land in the Greensburg Dist. in 1809. He may have gone to Hancock Co, MS as he had land on the Pearl River (Mobile Dist at that time). That is the last I know of him. Eleanor later md. Littleberry West, Sr (also in St. Tammany Parish). William is the only child that I have for Eleanor and Wiliam Langton.

Nancy and William Langton's children were: Wm.Jackson (md Cynthia Ann Williams Tilley), Robert (md Mary Davis Cryer), Eleanor (md John West), Nancy E. (md Wm H. Cryer), Milley (md Elijah Morrison), Asa Robert (md Eldorado Whittaker), Vira, Absolum William (md. Peggy Lucretia Addison), Marion Jane (md. Era Elijah Moore), and Cansetta Emiline. Wm. and Robert were born in TX. All the other children were born in LA. My descent is through William Jackson and Cynthia.
