My father's name was Wilfred Langton Hall, b 5th Oct 1899. His mother's name was Augusta Maud Mary Langton born c;a 1871 died 1941 Heaton Chapel, Stockport, Cheshire UK. Her father was Samuel Langton, born c:a 1830 died 1909 at Levenshulme near Manchester UK. My father claimed Augusta Maud Mary may well have been a direct descendent of Archbishop Stephen Langton who signed the Magna Carta but I have not been able to get further than this. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Sam Hall
